EVENT RENTAL COORDINATOR & GALLERY ATTENDANT
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to serve as Event Rental Coordinator & Gallery Attendant at Twin Steeples Creative Arts Center (TSCAC). This position combines event management with gallery operations, offering a dynamic opportunity to support both the rental program and our visual arts programming. This position reports directly to the Executive Director.
Event Rental Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for all event rental inquiries.
Provide pricing information, discuss availability, and assist clients in booking events.
Build and maintain relationships with local vendors (florists, caterers, etc.) to create and maintain a preferred vendor list.
Promote TSCAC event rentals through social media, email campaigns, and other marketing opportunities.
Prepare and send contracts and invoices for rental clients.
Manage event logistics, including setup, takedown, and on-site coordination during rental events.
Must be available for some evenings and weekends to work rental events.
Gallery Attendant Responsibilities:
Maintain a welcoming presence in the gallery during scheduled hours.
Greet guests, answer questions, and facilitate sales of artwork and gift shop items.
Direct any complex questions or concerns to the Executive Director as appropriate.
Help prepare for and work gallery receptions.
Some evening and weekend availability may be required for gallery receptions and other events.
Hours & Compensation:
Hours: 14 hours per week in-person, with additional hours as needed for rental events.
Schedule: May be split across multiple days; schedule must be approved in advance for each two-week period.
Compensation:
$15/hour for office and gallery work
30% commission on income generated from rental events
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, experience in customer service, and the ability to lift at least 40 pounds. Applicants should also share and support our mission to be a Creative Arts Center that is open and welcoming to all.
